Vulcan is a generous god- he has provided the mortals with seeds so that they may grow NFTs!

What is a seed?

A seed represents an NFT that has to grow in order to be harvested. Seeds can be items such as the Shield of Achilles (Vulcanite Defence + 25%) or Winged Boots of Hermes (Avatar speed + 25%) or even the Lost Shade Seed (Lost Shade Level 3 Vulcanite)

Each seed has different requirements and yields different NFTs but they all need the same three things Lava, Time, and PYR

If you’ve earned a Seed from either Vulcan or an Airdrop, your seed will start as a Non-NFT reward. If so, you’ll need to feed it some LAVA + XP to activate it and convert it to an NFT. Like a real seed, activating or germinating it in time is important. Seeds have a shelf life. If you don’t activate in time your seed will expire and become useless.

Be sure to activate your seed before it expires

When it’s an NFT you need to stake the required PYR, and wait the appropriate amount of time for it to grow.
Once the sowing period has been finalized the PYR you staked will be returned to your account. Seeds have differing percentage fees, these are made clear when sowing. The fee can vary from seed to seed, for example between 5–10%. Half of the fee goes to the rewards pool the other half gets burned. Finally, the NFT arrives in your wallet.

This is how the steps look through your account.

Once you have an NFT seed, growing it is easy.

Step 1. Log into your Vulcan Forged account and select “Sow” from the menu.

Step 2. Click the “Seed to Sow” button.

Step 3. Fill in the required details
*seeds have a small % tax on it as part of the PYR goes to the reward pool, meaning you won’t get 100% of the PYR back (talking a very small % you won’t get back)

Step 4. Click “Add to Sow”

Step 5. Wait.

Once the required time has passed the seed NFT will be removed and replaced by the appropriate NFT, and the PYR you staked will be returned to your account.
